Dick Leinenkugel running for Senate, Terrence Wall says something dumb

Rumor has it Doyle administration Commerce Secretary Dick Leinenkugel is going after the Republican nomination for US Senate. Working to Leinenkugel’s advantage among the GOP base, he has a solid business background. To his disadvantage, he left the private sector to join the Doyle administration. Tommy Thompson supported health care reform before he was against it. Terrence Wall donated to Democrats. If that bothered Republicans I can’t imagine them looking kindly upon a (potential) candidate working for a governor involved in;

“selling out good-paying jobs in order to advance his own liberal agenda and political allies.”

Xoff says if Leinenkugel is in the race, Tommy is out, and describes Leinenkugel as a RINO. A Google search reveals the remnants of a blog post from the Republican Party of Wisconsin that doesn’t appear complimentary of the Commerce Secretary. He should have quit the Doyle administration to bring back Northwoods Lager.

While on the subject of potential future losers of a Senate race, I must point out a recent T Wall Tweet;

Thanks for the insight

Once again the millionaire is out of touch with the rest of Wisconsin. We needed health care reform because many people not only can’t have all the insurance they want, they can’t have any insurance at all. Buy yourself a new campaign handler Wall, these kind of statements need to stop if you want a chance at the nomination.

    Is Xoff qualified to call anyone a RINO?

        Zach I think a long while back on your blog you were chastizing GOP bloggers for acting like experts by commenting on Dem candidates, saying that fellow Dems were the ones with more valueable opinions. So how about that applies here too. Lets Republicans call him a RINO if that’s the case. But who is xoff to make that judgement? Also xoff (and maybe you too?) no doubt mock Republicans anyway for using that label to malign and exclude moderate types.
