I have mild Tourette's and I love "Tourette's Guy". I think the actor who played Danny either has Tourette's or he knew someone who did because of the absurd things he says. There's nothing offensive about a comedic portrayal of a disorder - should Wikipedia delete "Family Guy" because Peter Griffin's paraplegic neighbor they always make fun of? I'm dead serious when I say that I'd rather watch Tourette's Guy than 99% of the crap Hollywood puts out. Before I stumbled across this blog, I was blissfully reminiscing the true greatness of Tourette's Guy - comedy doesn't get better than that - Wikipedia must be against comedy. I'm making Tony the Tiger shirts on UberPrints.com that say "BOB SAGET!" and "DON'T TALK SHIT ABOUT TOTAL!" instead of "THEY'RE G-R-R-REAT!" - make your own! The font to use is: "Toonish" (and it's free). In the immortal words of Danny, I say to Wikipedia: "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Bill, you CAN buy a gun for your brother for his birthday. Give him the money for it, accompany him when he makes the purchase and stick a big red bow on in when the dealer hands it to him. This is a REASONABLE law that prevents felons from purchasing firearms. Nobody is trying to take guns away from LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. Be reasonable!

I get so tired of you liberals besmirsching the character of Scooter. I'm sure he believes that he could go back to someplace he's never been before and make a lot of real money. Look, a lot of his supporters are private sector whizzes. Why couldn't he be one of them, too? They give him money, for crying out loud. He's gotta be like them. The poor fellow has not been in touch with reality for as long as I've heard about him.

As for your link, MPS's problems run far deeper than funding, I'll give you that, though I don't think my limited concession there is what you're looking for. As far as higher education, any cuts get passed right along to the student, making it less affordable to go to college. Getting back to teacher pay, thanks to the governor and Act 10, they're taking home a significantly less amount of money than before. And before wasn't excessive. That's certainly de-motivating. I've got more but this post was already kind of old and interest is fading.

I get it. But here's the thing: More money has done nothing to improve the outcomes in education. Research per pupil costs 5 and 10 years ago vs. today. What did we get for all that extra money? Zilch. Did we get better graduation rates? Did we get better test scores? Is the minority achievement gap less?
